I am a Mechanical Engineering Grad student at the University of Colorado at Boulder, working towards my masters degree. I am actively looking for full-time opportunities in the domains of Mechanical Engineering, R&D or Product Development ideally in New Product Development or NPI.
Rather than being a designer, I've always been a maker. As a result, the first thing that comes to mind when I design is: How would I build this?
What would be the next course of action for design optimization if it were successful?
How may time and money be saved?
Design for Manufacturing and Assembly, GD&T, Parametric Modelling, Manufacturing Processes, Topology Optimization, and most recently, Generative Design are some of the concepts and areas of study that I have discovered while searching for these answers.
